Black River United Way is in search of Heroes in Andrews! The Heroes For Literacy initiative involves community volunteers dedicating 1.5 hours a week for nine weeks tutoring children in reading. Training will be this Wednesday, August 28th, from 4-6 p.m. at the Georgetown Library (405 Cleland St.). If you are interested, comment on the post on Facebook or via the Community Volunteer form on the Town's app. See details about the program in the flyers. Thank you!

Adjusted Trash Pickup


Mr. Anthony Bone received the Shining Star Award at last night's Council Meeting. Mr. Bone is a prime example of seeing a need, asking how he can be of service, and taking action. When he approached town officials during Tropical Storm Debby with an idea and with the permission of his neighbors, he was the answer in the midst of the storm.
Thank you, Mr. Bone, for being so resolute!

Office Closure Notice.


UPDATED DATE CHANGE: Municipal Court, scheduled for Wednesday, August 7th, is POSTPONED until WEDNESDAY, August 21, 2024, due to Tropical Storm Debby.


Water services will be disrupted on the first two blocks of South Rosemary for a water line repair.
Updates on the estimated time of repair will be sent out via the Town's App and Facebook page.


There will be a Community Forum to provide updates on Town services, events, projects, and other pertinent information. Join us on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the AHS auditorium from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
